suggest discussing this with the california conservation corps, with the
state arborists organization, schools of forestry, ... perhaps with
collaboration comes the answer ... thinking of creative uses of the lumber
... how bout discussing it with progressive corporations, even if not local
(esprit, aveda, patagonia, kellogg; PG&E and Bank of America -- both of which
have received natl environmental awards) and foundations that focus on
conservation (i'm blanking because my work is in urban and the sources are
different). maybe the answer is not so much funds, but collaboration.
