I saw these (and used them) at a construction camp on the North Slope.
Seemed insane to use diesel or natural gas generated electricity to
incinerate waste, but the alternative was 'honey buckets' as everything is
on permafrost. I have no idea how much power they use, but it must be
substantial. Would be interesting to see if one could get a composting
toilet to work under those conditions.
I guess you can put this one in the 'cutting butter with a chainsaw' file:^)
