List-ers:

A friend and her husband both are having a lot of trouble with 
toenail fungus and are losing their toenails.
The nurse-practitioner who treats them said that these fungi live in 
air conditioning ductwork, and are practically impossible to get rid 
of once they have set in.

Is it possible for the fungi living in air conditioning to be the 
kind that attacks toenails?

Does anyone have any methods of getting your ductwork 'clean' again?
