Re: GBlist: North Carolina Building Codes



Here is Colorado I found widely varying reactions from code officials
concerning earthships. Here in Boulder county they have not much of a
problem. In near-by ElPaso county they couldn't be less friendly to the
idea.

So my advice is that before you start looking for land, call around the
county code people and find out what their attitude is.

I think that most code people will not care about strawbale much though.
It's actually a pretty conventional technique, all things considered.
