        I am a little puzzled by your question. Did you really not know what
terrazzo is, or were you just looking to get me to write more on this list -
as if I don't do enough already. Anyway, terrazzo is pretty green 'cause it
lasts so long and takes nothing but water to keep it up. Some would also
give it green points for using the marble chips, otherwise not very useful
scrap from the quarry or wherever they quarry or make marble products. The
hard, smooth surface resists soiling and damage. One downside is that it is
slippery when wet - cause it's so smooth. It also requires energy for the
polishing process. But, on many projects like public buildings I try to get
terrazzo used for flooring for the durability and ease of maintenance
qualities above all.
