Reading the message below, I realize that it wasn't clear that the blurb below
describes an open position that the EPA (Indoor Environments Division) is trying to
fill. The blurb was language for a job bulletin, but without that context, it wasn't clear.

Thought this might be of interest to some on the GBlist:
U.S. EPA GS-11/12/13 — Washington, D.C.
Team member to help get homes built with good indoor air quality (IAQ) practices
and with radon-resistant construction techniques. Involves mounting national and
local housing code adoption efforts, encouraging home builders to voluntarily build
with prescribed techniques, increasing consumer awareness and demand, and
providing training.
Qualifications: Builder or individual with building experience,
mechanical engineer, code official or architect should consider applying. Should
also demonstrate: experience or interest in working with environmental issues;
knowledge of building codes and permitting processes; good public speaking and
writing skills; willingness to work in team-based environment.
