GBlist: environmentally friendly workstation
Hi,
Oliver wrote requesting info on environmentally friendly
workstations. Here are some suggestions.
For recycled content & IAQ consider either a
wheatboard or exterior grade plywood substrate with
a laminate of Environ or wood laminate from M. Bohlke.
Also look at some of the products from Yemm & Hart using
recycled plastic. An alternative substrate, but one that
would have to be sealed, would be Gridcore.
Be sure to include provisions for low energy task lighting. Also,
Designtex makes a recycled content fabric
for panels called "Play it Again Sam."
