Members of Greenbuilding,
The Novem -Dutch knowledge centre for energy and the environment- is a
non-profit organization which is interested in reducing energy consumption
in The Netherlands. A mean to accomplish this goal is to stimulate the use
of new innovative technologies. Therefore, the Novem has asked us to
investigate new energy efficient technologies for household appliances
world-wide. Eventually the Novem wants to introduce a few outstanding
technologies in The Netherlands.
As you are all experts in this field, we would like to know whether you are
aware of emerging technologies that are not world-wide promoted to
consumers today (perhaps only in your own country) and which have been
commercialized or are likely to be commercialized in about 10 years. We
would greatly appreciate any information you can give us on this subject.
We are especially interested in: (1) information on new energy efficient
technologies for household appliances (2) research institutes or
manufacturers in and outside your country who developed energy efficient
technologies or might be developing new technologies, and (3) institutes,
agencies, associations aimed at energy efficiency, renewable or sustainable
energy, or innovative technologies especially outside Northern America. Any
name, address, publication etc. is welcome. If you would like more
information on the project, please contact us.
