Sunsite USA and the University of North Carolina are proud to announce their participation in the Internet 1996 World Exposition. Sunsite has been chosen as an official archive site for the World Expo and will be providing support for many pavilions and events. Acknowledging the role of technology and education in the Information Age, they have joined with UNC Chapel Hill to make their contribution to the Global Village.
The commitment to participate in this world wide event has created new opportunities at North Carolina. The School of Journalism and Mass Communication at UNC Chapel Hill will offer a course in the fall of '95 with the function of creating quality locations in the Global Village. The result will be an eclectic mix of sites that we hope will serve to enrich those that visit the '96 World Expo. These efforts will bring together the expertise of educators and professionals from a variety of disciplines. Experts in internet services, journalism, video production, photo journalism, and multimedia design will bring their knowledge and experience to this project.
We hope that this effort will lead to the creation of an online global environment that is exciting, entertaining, and educational. Sunsite USA is thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the Internet 1996 World Exposition. We proudly join UNC Chapel Hill in making our contribution to the future look of the World Wide Web.
