a few weeks ago, i called the counting crows' management company cause i write for a magazine and get to mess around like that and call anyone, but anyway, they said the band would be starting their new album in april and wouldn't be touring for at least, (boohoo) ten or eleven months.

well if that isn't a fine how-do-you-do-me? man. they cancelled their show in pittsburgh, too. august 28. same day bobby fuchs ran over my arm and broke it only many, many moons and men ago. i loved him. he was the first boy i loved.

oh, well anyway, they cancelled and i thought we'd be seeing them for sure this summer. how dare they not come here? we're their fans! let's go beat the fuck out of adam's throat.

only kidding. i was just remembering the old days on this group and people would say this stuff and i'd have to lay them out. but i was such a bad jo back them. i'm reformed. anyway, they toured nonstop for years, you know? so now they get to kick back and enjoy the fruits of their labors for a while so we'll just have to wait to see them. but man, well, you'd think they'd have to do something so that the um, public, doesn't forget about them. but maybe they want the public to forget for a while.

well we won't. let the bootlegs flow.

aw, i have a very spent woman coming to my house at 9 a.m. yes, a woman, a girl i love very much who is/was also a crack whore. and she's coming here with her little baby so i can finish a story on her.

man, you guys, i have seen shit you know you can't imagine. so if i dream about adam, well shit, it keeps me from being dragged under. it really does. so does pearly jam and nirvana and even peter himmelman. i don't know. well i gotta go. i feel so sad now. i'm going to bathe. shower. and i'm putting curlers in my hair and i'm going to go out tonight and kiss someone. even if it's a lamp pole.

oh yeah, the snow melted and you can see the grass again. so i'm pretty happy about that. i just need to go out tonight. Dee's in the southside probably. it's an alternative bar but that's the best you can do. it's either that or a do-me generation bar and i can't take that. but jack's has the best tunes. oh the delima. but i can't stand the men who try and talk to us. they see us all crazy and think immedietaly that of course we'd do the dirtiest of deeds with them 'cause we don't wear make-up or something. i don't know.

oh i gotta go. okay, well no scheduled tours and probably no album 'till the fall. but i hope they're having fun.

bye
