Eduardo "Boracha" de Souza

Eduardo de Souza is the director of the Carolina Samba School and leader of the band "Holy Samba". Eduardo was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1963. As a child he learned Brazilian rhythms from his uncle. In 1987 he moved to Miami and studied Brazilian dance. He performed as a professional dancer for ten years, before moving to the Triangle. As the director of Carolina Samba School, Eduardo teaches Samba Batucada, Samba de Roda and Pagode.
