We work with National Military Appreciation Month during the month of May. Amateur Radio Operators from around the world team up during this joint effort to allow the people from our communities to gather at public locations such as shopping centers, parks, VA hospitals, and sporting events to express verbal positive support "LIVE" over the radio for members of the Military, Veterans, Reserves, National Guard, and military support groups. It is also a chance for those at each location to hear and exchange messages of appreciation with each other over the radio. Many of us have friends, relatives, and neighbors that are active duty, and past members of the armed forces. ARMAD gives us the chance to support one another, and to express our thanks and appreciation to those that sacrifice and serve in the Armed Forces. wd9dnm Node 99262 Article: 52299 of rec.radio.amateur.digital.misc From: stephen quigg Subject: Re: Tiny 2 & FT290R Message-ID: References: <423b65cc@212.67.96.135> Date: Thu, 24 Mar 2005 03:41:41 GMT On Sat, 19 Mar 2005 17:19:14 +0000, Nick B. wrote: > On Fri, 18 Mar 2005 23:35:48 -0000, "Paul" wrote: > >> >>"carlrtaylor2" wrote in message >>news:d1fi1f$bi5$1@hercules.btinternet.com... >>> Hi all - I've recently bought a Tiny 2 TNC. Ports 5198 & 5199 need to be forwarded in UDP format not TCP/IP. On the echolink site there is a test utility to test your connection & hardware. It will produce a report telling you what is going on. Basically if the above ports are mentioned then you can bet that they need forwarding in the router config.
