It means "Double Silk Covered"  Since DSC wire is presently made of
unobtanium, you must make do with some sort of vinyl covered wire.

You don't really need to use either L2, L3, or L4 unless you want to.  In
any case, L2 and L3 should be wrapped around L1 or L4 respectively at the
"cold" end, which in the case of L2 is the center since it is in a
push-pull circuit.  L2 should also be spaced about 1/8 to 1/4 inch away
from L1 by winding L2 larger in diameter and using possibly a small
section of PVC pipe to wind it on.

At the L4 end, the "cold" end would be the end furthest from the antenna
in the case of the single wire antenna, and in the center in the case of
the Zepp.

As soon as I re-do that page, I will include all the necessary info.

Trying not to get into trouble.

So does anybody know where I can find out the best type of inexpensive ant
for a 2 meter rig,
that can mount on top of a pole that holds up one end of a dipole.  Dont
want a dir ant.
is there a mailing list like this especially for antennas?
