Dear FERNANDO!
GREAT to hear from you in Chile, OM!!
YES! There is STILL AM activity on HF!
It is found every day on 1975, 1985, 3880, 3885,
7290, 7295, 14280, 14286, 29100 kHz
There are PLENTY of stations on AM in the USA
these days! I run several FB old AM rigs here!
I will copy this to several of the AM ops in the USA and maybe some
more of them will write and encourage you!
I hope you don't mind that I forwarded you rcomments to them.
It is just VERY exciting to hear from a South AMerican station that
might get back on AM soon!!! I hope that it is OK with you that I did
this!
I love the old Johnson equipment! I hope you can find another old
VIKING 500 transmitter!
Will you be joining us soon? It would be a delight to hear
you on AM!

Hello everyone - I thought you might like to know of a place where
you can trade pictiures of your radios (of all kinds!)
alt.binaries.pictures.radio
It's a NEW newsgroup, so you will probably have to ASK you rInternet
Service Provider (ISP) to start carrying it for you!
Just e-mail a request to them, and you will get it.Remember to UPDATE
Your list of NEW newsgroups a day or two later and you can see it.
Newsgroups: alt.binaries.pictures.radio
It's worth the effort. I just saw a number of nifty pictures there,
and got my own copies of them.
