There is STILL AM activity on HF! It is found every day on 1975, 1985, 3880, 3885, 7290, 7295, 14280, 14286, 29100 kHz There are PLENTY of stations on AM in the USA these days! I run several FB old AM rigs here! I will copy this to several of the AM ops in the USA and maybe some more of them will write and encourage you! I hope you don't mind that I forwarded you rcomments to them. It is just VERY exciting to hear from a South AMerican station that might get back on AM soon!!! I hope that it is OK with you that I did this! I love the old Johnson equipment! I hope you can find another old VIKING 500 transmitter! Will you be joining us soon? It would be a delight to hear you on AM! 73 for now - Bry, AF4K / G3XLQ On 22 Jan 98 at 14:45, Fernando wrote: > Dear Brian, > >**************************************************** > >*** 73 from Radio AF4K/G3XLQ Gaithersburg, MD USA * > >** E-mail to: bry@mnsinc.com * > >*** ICQ 6124470 *** > >** http://www.mnsinc.com/bry/ * > >**************************************************** > >AM International #1024, TENTEN #13582.
