Spring seeding of winter grains: SCS is interested in using this technique for erosion control and potentially pasture. The following questions came up: - Will these grains remain vegetative, since they have not been vernalized? - Can they tolerate repeated harvests? - How long will they continue to grow (all season, 2 months, etc.) 2. What is being used in other states for controlling birds in corn plantings? This is a serious problem here, and options are very limited.
