contact Dr. Phil sims, USDA-ARS, Woodward, OK.  He has conducted research 
for more than a decade on use of winter wheat for high protein pasture to 
supplement his range forage in the late summer, fall and winter.  he has 
designed several systems to meet animal protein needs, needs of the wheat 
to tiller and to survive the winter and make a fully profitable system.
