Sorry, I am not familiar with these books, but if you are looking for books printed in English which discuss and illustrate how to construct "village technology", the US Peace Corps has an excellent resource library. Not only do they have their own books (ex. "How to build a fuel efficient clay wood stove") but they have a wealth of literature on such topics. How to get access to the library? The main office is in Washington, DC. Perhaps someone else on the list has some ideas of how to access the resource. Another source which comes to my mind is the Alternatives Library at Cornell University. I believe it is located within the International Agriculture Program at Cornell. The telephone number there is 607-255-3035. A person who may be able to get you in touch with the library resources is Nancy Grudens Schuck at ng13@cornell.edu - she is a graduate student in the Cornell Dept. of Education, and manages the e-mail list Sust. Ag Education. Hope this helps. Carol A.
