The contents of this directory (.../ecology+evolution/bioguide/) are:

bioguide.new	Version 1.8a, December 1994:  an addendum to bioguide.faq,
		listing many new and changed mailing lists.

bioguide.faq	The plain ASCII text version of "A Biologist's Guide to
		Internet Resources", Version 1.7, November 1993.

bioguide.item	The same as bioguide.faq, but formatted for section-by-
		section browsing via gopher.

bioguide.ps	A nice PostScript version, formatted by Valeria Bevilacqua,
		valeria@icgeb.trieste.it.  This is an ASCII file, but *not*
		suitable for reading online via gopher;   print it for use
		as a handout in workshops, etc.  Pick the compressed version
		(below) if you are using a gopher or WWW client.

bioguide.ps.Z	A compressed version of the above for efficient transfer,
		if you are using a gopher or WWW client, or you have the
		Unix "uncompress" utility.

Translations:

   French	Translated and set in PostScript format by Yvonne Mechaly,
		mechaly@arthur.citi2.fr.  Anonymous FTP users will find
		the French translation stored in 5 parts in the directory
		pub/doc/biologie/ on ftp.citi2.fr.
