Search String Type:

Exact Match

Find the search string exactly, not within a word. Any non-number or non-alphabetic charters count as word separators, including "."s.

Substring Match

Find the search string anywhere, even within another string.

Perl Regular Expres.

Any legal Perl 5.000 regular expression.

Standard Wildcards

Same as "Exact Match" however the two standard wildcards charters are allowed. The "*" symbolizes any string of charters. The "?" indicates any single charter.

Search For:

This is a boolean search. The AND key means it will search for a match that contains both string. The OR keyword means it will search for a string that contains either of the strings. The NOT keyword means it will search for a match that contains a certain string but NOT the other string.

This is NOT a keyword search. Each line is treated as a complete string. To look for multiple keywords put each word on a separate line and choose OR as the combiner.

First all of the OR's or combined, then those matches are checked against any AND or NOT strings. The order you put the strings in does not matter. A OR B NOT C and A NOT C OR B both mean (A OR B) NOT C.

Output Format:

Basic

The group's name and its short description with a way to jump to group's data.

Advanced

Same as above but with a way to jump to any of the heritages of the group and a way to jump to the group directly.

Group Jump

Same as Basic but instead of jumping to the group's data you jump to the group directly. It does however provide a way to see the group's data.
