A Guide to Cyberspace -- Written by
Kevin Hughes, this is a good starter document for Internet users who are
relatively new in using the World Wide Web.
The WWW Virtual Library
-- Conceived by the W3 Consortium, the WWW Virtual Library is a loosely
organised "library", with information housed in universities across the
globe. This is sometimes the best way to obtain information, as experts
in various fields will offer to "host" the library at their particular
University. Subjects range from Beer and Brewing to Crystallography and
Standards and Standardization Bodies.
