Beth's Very Basic Bio
Welcome to my home page! Since you're here, I suppose I should tell you
a bit about myself. This is a pretty recent photo of me.
- My name is Beth I. Koose (but not for much longer!)
- I'm in my late 20's
- Earned my undergraduate degree in Journalism
from the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS! WOOF, WOOF!!), and am still
working on my master's in Library Science from UNC-CH.
- I spent most of my formative years in Georgia. I've been in
Chapel Hill (quite a lovely place, if you've never visited) for several
years.
- My immediate family consists of one fiance--Todd--and
two adorable but psychotic cats--Ike and Cat.
Some of my favorite
things...
- Watching movies of all sorts, except slashers (I don't get the point?!?)
- Eating good Italian food and ice cream--especially french vanilla
- Long walks in the woods or collecting shells on the beach
- Reading Anne Rice,
Jane Austen,
Margaret Mitchell, Taylor Caldwell,
Byron, A.A. Milne,
Louisa M. Alcott,
Erica Jong, and Mark Twain
- Spending long days in museums and zoos--I like to read ALL the
labels
- Listening to Strauss
waltzes, Mozart flute and harp concertos, Indigo Girls, B52s, Tonya
Tucker, Billy Joel (geez, I'm showing my age here!)
- Travelling everywhere and anywhere!
- Winnie-the-Pooh, Tigger, and the whole gang--I'm trying to cultivate
this interest in my nephew, too, so I have an excuse for spending
unreasonable amounts of money on all the Pooh paraphenalia
