The National Archives and Records Administration and UNC provide the
materials on PRESIDENT, the Presidential Libraries IDEA Network, as a
public service.
PRESIDENT requires adherence to the following minimum standards for inclusion as an exhibit:
- Substantial Archival materials: A substantial portion of the exhibited materials must originate in the archival holdings of the presidential library system.
- Public Service: The obvious objective of the exhibit is to provide a public service rather than to promote a partisan position, candidate, or platform or a venture which is primarily commercial in nature.
- Disclaimer: the initial page of the exhibit must include a disclaimer which indicates that the exhibit represents the private opinions of the author and no other.
- Contact information: the exhibit must provide information about, and preferrably an email module for, contacting the author.
