The Hoover Presidential Library-Museum blends an ever-changing array of exhibits with year-round special events to bring history to life for visitors of all ages. Exhibits trace Hoover's adventures as globe-trotting mining engineer, the troubled years of the Great Depression and Hoover's world-wide famine relief efforts before and after his presidency.

Every August, the Hoover Complex hosts "Hooverfest," a weekend celebration that includes a spectacular fireworks extravaganza. Also within the Site are a working replica of Herbert Hoover's father's blacksmith shop, a one-room school-house and a restored Quaker Meeting house.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Year's Day, Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for seniors age 62 and older. Children age 15 and under are free.
