BATTLE PARK '95 INFO SHEET
THE EAST COAST HIGH POWER LAUNCH SPONSORED BY TRIPOLI CENTRAL VIRGINIA

This year B.P. will be help april 29 & 30 so we can have cooler weather
and the use of all three of our fields (2 on the east side of the road
and one on the west side).

Food will be catered (that's right catered) by "PIG & STEAK" Burgers,
hot dogs, killer Bar-B-Q, beans, slaw, drinks, and maybe even fries
will be available in the field so wear your stretch pants!! Please
remember not to litter our field.

BRING A LAUNCH PAD!!!!! WE WILL PROBABLY NEED IT!!! 3/4" and 1" rods
will be available. If your have rods please bring them. They will make
things go faster. We will have at least 32 pads, maybe more, to handle
lots of flights.

Blue Ridge Rocketry, Cluster R, Countdown Hobbies, Designex, H.P.R.
Magazine, LOC/Precision, Magnum Inc., MRED, Pratt Hobbies, Rocket
Science of South Carolina, and The Launch Pad, among others will be
on site for your shopping pleasure. Bring lots of money!

TRIPOLI SAFETY RULES WILL BE IN EFFECT. "SPECIAL EFFECTS" (F-X) motors
may be banned if fire hazard conditions warrant. All decisions by R.S.O.'s
and the officers of Central Virginia Tripoli are FINAL!    SAFETY FIRST!

The launch will not be shut down for any speeches this year. We are going
to fly rockets and hopefully break more records!

Waiver is from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM both days. Waiver is to 15,000'. Use some
discretion and don't try to use all of the 15,000'. Let's get'em back!

Holiday Inns and Days Inns are also located in Warrenton and Fredricksburg
which are about a 30 minute drive from the field. BOOK EARLY! BOOK NOW!!!!
Free camping will be allowed on the field. No hook-ups. NO OPEN FIRES! Mike,
Sonny, or Bob can tell you what is still available.

Cars which block any driving lane or restrict access by the fire vehicles
may be towed at the owners expense. There will be much more room this year
so leave the driveways open. The Rapidan Fire Department will be on site.

Launch fee for the entire event will be $15.00 People who work as R.S.O.,
L.C.O., Pad Manager, or Set Up Crew will pay $5.00 and will receive a "Launch
Priority" card. If you don't want to stand in line, VOLUNTEER!!!!!! We need
help to run this launch! Thanks to the members from Tenn., N.C., Ga., Va.,
Md., Conn., & N.J. who have worked to make this launch successful!

Maps showing how to get to the launch site will be at the front desk of the
motels in Culpeper. If there are no maps left, just follow someone with a
rocket!
