As it is with mysterious icons, sometimes the finding of the face of the Messiah (which I was told is in the upper portion of this cloud image, but I can't seem to find no matter how hard I try) in the iron deposits at the bottom of a bowl of SUGAR Smacks is often in the eye of the beholder. However, the unmistakable visage of "Bob" should be clearly visible in the protuberance directly under the "six-pointed" star in the center of the image. You may need to zoom in to see him... but according to estimates at NASA, this portion of the image is several million miles across. Now THAT'S "BOB"!!!
When I got the M16 image from the NASA Website, it already was missing that block in the upper right.

Yes, it is the Prime Original Dobbshead, the classic "ad portrait" of Dobbs, which Dr. Philo Drummond and Ivan Stang lifted from an ancient clip art book for Yellow Pages salesmen. EVERY SINGLE DOBBSHEAD YOU HAVE EVER SEEN is descended from THAT POTENT PROGENITOR!!!

On June 1, 1996, Dr. John Zero scanned this selfsame One True Dobbshead directly onto a special gold-plated Syquest disk. All exact digital copies of that one are thus ONLY ONE SCAN-GENERATION FROM THAT GREAT DOBBSHEAD IN DALLAS.

This is not a "perfect digital Dobbshead." It has not been processed in any way. It is more unto a photograph and therefore reveals not only the Dobbshead and a splotch of White-Out, but even the mysterious Holy Unused Art on the reverse side of the piece of paper, dimly seen behind "Bob."

From that One True Dobbshead, however, the crazed perfectionist Zero also processed what we might call "PERFECT" DIGITAL DOBBSHEADS:
