Can anyone help me??

I an environmental student at Salford University and investigating energy 
sources as part of my project.  At the moment I am having little joy in 
finding anything on biomass from algae as a source of energy.  
What environmental factors are required to algae grow successfuly
How much energy produced
Main species used
Basicly anything relavent would be welcomed
Anything to do with alternative sources of energy would also be welcomed 
espcialy contacts with lots of info.
