Claas Rotocut round baler

Foragers!

I have a producer who is thinking of buying a Claas rotocut round
baler, bale wrapper and big tractor and start making round balage.
He will be hauling a couple miles to his 100 cow dairy. The rotocut
is supposed to cut the hay into 6 inch pieces and should be an
advantage over the competitors baler, right? Any one out there with
direct experience or know of someone doing this, I would appreciate
some feedback on the topic. The neighbor is going to raise the
alfalfa and sell the haylage based on a moisture content that they
both will agree to. It looks like a great big chunk of money and
would like to be able to tell this producer that yes or no he is
heading in the right direction......

I have been able to find a couple of things - booklets and extension
pubs and video tapes that are related. Anything out there specific?

I beleive he is going to use an innoculant. Any wisdom on these as
well?

Thanks
