Unless your horse manure has aged to nothing less than black earth I
wouldn't use it on trees, especially when planting young trees you should
be carefull not to incorporate too much nitrogen as it might kill them.
Well rotted horse manure, if any, seems to be a good choice though as it
is well balanced.
