Aloe vera

Hello saneters:
I have a question for all of you out there.
We are growing Aloe vera in extreme weather condition: very hot and dry and
on saline soils.  Our plants have developed two diseases known as soft rot
and tip dieback.  We don't want to use chemical means for treating these
diseases.
Does anyone know of any research (available electronically) or any means of
organic control for these diseases?
