Dear Sanetters:

Are you or someone you know interested and able to spend the month of
September in either Cape Verde (off the West Coast of Africa) or Ecuador? You
would be working with Peace Corps Volunteers and the farmers that they work
with conducting workshops or on-site informal training on dryland vegetable
production and drip irrigation (in the case of Cape Verde) or post-harvest
handling and marketing of crops (in the case of Ecuador). We actually need
two individuals for Ecuador - one to concentrate on beans and corn and the
other to focus on fruits and vegetables. All expenses and travel are paid for
by Volunteers in Overseas Cooperative Assistance; no salary. Both volunteer
opportunities require 5 - 10 years experience, but no language requirements.
Please call Matt Zimmerman at the U.S. Peace Corps if interested or reply by
e-mail or fax. tel.: (202) 606-3403; fax: (202) 606-3298; e-mail:
