Hello Marc,
This is more of an observation than hard facts, but perhaps
others on the list will be able to confirm or deny it. All of
the organic/ecological livestock producers I know or know about
sell direct to the consumer. The low market price for beef has
not changed their prices because they are basically not part of
the existing commercial market structure. High prices for
grain are much more likely to affect their prices.
