Howdy, all--

Just a quick note to let you know that CIAS's Web site is live:

http://www.wisc.edu/cias/

If you'd like to learn more about our programs, people, and
projects, check in. We hope you'll find it simple and clean but full
of info and constantly evolving. We designed it so that constituents
dialling up via modem wouldn't have to sit around waiting for .gifs
to load.

As we revise it, we'll be adding more photos. This winter, we'll be
working on beefing up the Regional Food Systems section, getting
some photos and stories on-line about working with our Citizens
Advisory Council, and telling the story of how we developed this Web
site for about $2,000 plus some staff time. (Don't quote me on that
figure...I haven't pencilled it all the way out; it's probably less,
though it's important to note that Linda and I did buy our own beer,
an important part of being a Wisconsin Webfrau.)

Looking forward to your input/feedback/thoughts n ideas.

peace
michele
