It seems to me that if we are shipping milk, we are pushing out subsistence
famers and bring in agribiz and/or state agriculture. That's not sustainable
farmers. Another feature of the water buffalo is that they are great draft
animals and with large hoofs work well in paddies. They are very gentle and
are often left in the care of very small children.
