To sanet:

Adam may be an agent provacateur for the right wing
press? He mascarades as a lefty to get all the radicals
shouting "yeah dude, give it to em".

But, at the end of his little diatribe we get the
rub, a punch to the face to poor Spurgeon.
The real intention is to make all the rest of us
sustainable aggies look bad (to ourselves, to our Mothers, and
to the agro-industrial establishment lurking in the
background).

Then the lurkers and opinion makers can say
"see, I told you so, that sanet crowd is just too much.
What will they say next?" "Maybe their whole stupid
movement is really a ploy to overthrow U.S. agriculture
and establish communism on American soil."

To Spurgeon:

What is a prolix faddist? I might add that to my
Oklahoma-grown cowboy vocabulary.

To the cantakerous graziers:

We expect flattulant opinion from the cow herders; it
is innate to your profession.

To the vegetarians:

Wendell Berry said we gotta graze animals and eat meat for
the good of the land, even if it kills us.

To the prolix faddists:

Can't you see that your wacky ideas are what is
wrong with this agricultural economy?
