I had hoped that we were past the days of mistaking co-relation with =
causality. Unfortunately that is what characterises the comments of =
Vaughan Jones on beef. Along with eating more beef, the Japanese =
underwent untold number of other lifestyle changes. And as you said, =
the Masai eat mostly blood and milk from their animals, and very rarely =
do they kill an animal to eat its meat. Their relation with cattle is =
basically almost commensal. Few vegetarians will avoid dairy products. =
But you are welcome to eat all the meat you prefer. And I am sorry, I =
still detect not ex, but very active cattle farmer and consultant =
attitudes in your writings.
