Amish and free speech

Sanetters-
I am originally from PA and have seen a little bit of the Amish and =
Mennonite ways of life over the past 20 years, and I respect the ways in =
which they differ from "us". That said, I would like to recall =
something I heard on public radio a while back. A guy wrote in in =
response to a story that had rubbed listeners the wrong way, and =
suggested that colleges and universities start offering Biology courses =
on the "Development, Care, and Maintenance of Thick Skin". I am =
suggesting that perhaps we are taking the top-10 list, and ourselves, a =
bit too seriously. Hey, remember that our country was founded on free =
speech!! I found this list to be quite humorous (shocking to some of =
you) and hey, Kert Davies prefaced it by saying it contained nothing of =
intellectual value! Could we please lighten up and not be quite so PC?
