Ooops about the double-posting today. Also, for those of you who
might one day inadverantly post something to the list that wasn't
intended to end up here, don't worry about it. Our friendly folks
just hit their delete key with a smile and it's history. This is
being reported coming from lots of personal experience. That said,
tonight's item appeared in my mailbox today, for the benefits of
us who are still debating the largest urban park in North America ...

All of philadelphia's tourist literature touts fairmount park as the
nation's largest urban park. although i've heard balboa park and central
park actually have more acreage. do you have a "top 10" list by any
chance?

KC - I think that 'City Forest' (if I've got that right) in Portland
