Environmental business conferences typically fall into three distinct
camps: activists and visionaries bemoaning "business as usual". . .
engineers and scientists talking high-tech . . . and corporate leaders
sharing war stories. ECOTECH III is the only national conference to
bring
the voices, wisdom, and cutting-edge ideas of all three of these groups
to
the table. There is simply no other conference like it.

Like the first two conferences (in 1991 and 1994), ECOTECH III promises
to
raise the level of thinking S and doing S for everyone involved.
Participants will hear from leading thinkers, take part in hands-on
sessions, and share ideas with executives, policy makers, scientists,
academics, investors, and activists in a spirit of collaboration and
synergy. The mutual goal: creating products, processes, and
organizations
that are good for people, business, and the planet.

Scheduled speakers include: Ray Anderson, Dr. Theo Colborn, Riane
Eisler,
Sue Hall, Molly Harriss Olson, Dee Hock, Tachi Kiuchi, Amory Lovins,
Joel
Makower, John Perkins, Gifford and Libba Pinchot, Michael Potts, Bill
Shireman, and Peter Warshall.
