Dear subscribers,
TREE CITY Initiative plans to publish from first January 1998 onward a
bi-monthly electronic NEWS ON URBAN GREENING with a focus on resource-poor
citizens and trees in developing countries, which will be distributed
through the urban-forestry mailing list.
The TREE CITY News will consist of following sections EVENTS, INITIATIVES
AND POJECTS, RESEARCH, TRAINING, JOB OPPORTUNITIES AND MISCELLANEOUS.
We invite you to submit a brief contribution (not longer than 600 words for
each section). Deadline for submission of the first number will be December
20, 1997. Please send contributions to the Editor Dr. Guido Kuchelmeister
