SEEKING EXPERIENCED LANDSCAPERS
On behalf of Hands-On DC, an annual servathon aiding that raises funds for
youth development and scholarships by clean-up, painting, and landscaping
activities at 50 DC public schools in April each year, GROW is searching for
individuals with landscaping experience to lead the work at each of these
schools. The first site visits will be in December or January -- looking at
the schools to see what work could be done, and most importantly, what
supplies and tools are needed, and how many volunteers will be needed.
Experienced landscapers would be most helpful for these site visits --
helping define reasonable tasks for a 4 hour volunteer day and suggesting
hardy plant materials.
