TT: Garden Insurance and more from the ACGA

One of our favorite 'kindred groups' is the American Community
Gardening Association. Their informative newsletter, Multilogue,
is circulated to members 6 times a year, targeting the needs of
community organizers and sharing creative approaches toward
those. Very much in line with the networking aims of TreeTown.

Their fall edition reports on a deal between ACGA and The North
American Specialty Insurance Company to provide liability coverage
of $1 Million per occurance for community gardens. Cost is $200 /
year for each of the first 25 gardens, $100 / year above that.
Past president Jack Hale says that Knox Parks Foundation has used
B. Perkins for many years and they are credible and creative.
