Hey, Gary,
My Hort prof told us that the "Tree Grows in Brooklyn" tree was a Tree of
Heaven, or the ubiquitous Ailanthus altissima (sp?).  I can't verify that,
but she has more letters after her name than I do, so I figured she knew.
