Dear colleagues and friends,
For completion of a working paper on urban forestry for the FAO
ASIA-PACIFIC FORESTRY SECTOR OUTLOOK STUDY 2010 I am interested in
information from municipalities with regard to urban forestry expenditure
(total expenditure, government urban forestry sector). The aim is to
compare it with the data in the Region. For instance Bangkok and Seuol have
spent in 1997:
* Bangkok Metropolitan Area spent 0,83 % of total annual budget or 0.37
$/inhabiats
* Seoul Metropolitan Area spent 2.5 % of total budget or 13,66 $/inhabitant
