GBlist: Forward: AVOID GLOBAL DISASTER

This unbelievable posting came through from Lee Porter Butler, a man not
afraid to make remarkable claims. I thought GBlisters might be amused or
possibly frightened. I personally find it annoying to hear someone say that
Africa and India and China, where most of the world's population lives, have
no resources. I also found the idea that replacing or modifying all existing
buildings "...to meet Ekotecture Standards" was the only way. Of course we
are all familiar with Ekotecture Standards. Aren't those the tried and true
ways of building traditional buildings in India, Africa, and China?

>
>Inadequate natural, full spectrum lighting ( sunlight)
>Inadequate filtration and circulation of "fresh air" * "Fresh air" is
>actually polluted outdoor air, introduced into the building, without
>filtration. This polluted air is mixed with the toxic off gassing building
>materials which make up the surfaces and fixtures and equipment.
>Inadequate protection from electromagnetic field radiation which comes from
>110 volt and 220 volt Alternating current, high tension lines over your
>house, even a block away.
>Inadequate protection against molds, mildews, viruses, bacteria, moths,
>mites ect.
>Inadequate protection against oxygen starvation, brain deficiency
>Inadequate protection against fire
>Inadequate protection against earthquakes
>Inadequate wind protection, tornado, hurricane
>Inadequate protection against floods and tidal waves
>Inadequate inefficient mechanical systems, expensive to maintain, operate
>and to own
>Inadequate pollution standards, dumps organic fertilizer into the rivers
>and oceans
>Inadequate pollution standards, pumps fossil fuel fumes or nuclear waste
>Inadequate access from interior to exterior
>Inadequate ionic charge levels Positive and negative electrostatic charges
>on the ions
>Inadequate protection against rain when windows or doors are open
>Inadequate sun shading for passive cooling in summer
>Inadequate sun penetration for adequate passive heating in winter
>Inadequate floral fragrances or pleasant smells ( shows higher productivity )
