To my knowledge, all mechanic solvents and lubricants are toxic wastes
and need to be treated as such. They will kill, or severely hamper most
biological systems such as greywater marshes. I have heard of an enzyme
being developed that will degrade petroleum products but I have no leads
on this.

If you design a biological treatment system, the main opperation will be
based on non-animal part digestion. There is a whole different
biological digestion community associated with carcass decomposition.
That said, a small ammount of animal parts and fats will probably not
impare the system but large doses will effect the health of the
biological community and are to be avoided. Simply seperate the animal
parts at the sink and bury them away from the house and let nature do
the rest.

Blackwater and greywater both have pathogen potentials and need to be
treated as such. Blackwater typically contains much higher levels of
nutrients, nitrogen, and pathogens than greywater. Greywater treatment
is usually less extensive because of these reduced loads.
