We just broke ground yesterday on the 500 sq. ft. Octagon strawbale
structure. The foundation work is being performed in the next few weeks. The
straw bale walls will be raised in a workshop on April 26th in conjunction
with the 1997 Solar Energy Forum being held between April 25th and 30th in
Washington DC. Call the American Solar Energy Society (ASES) for more
information: phone (303)443-3130, fax (303)443-3212.

Thanks Tom for mentioning the project. Any one interested in this strawbale
project can e-mail me -JoE McCabe, energyi@nicom.com
