Subject: EEBA Builders Guide (aka- Lstiburek's Book)
============================================================
Greetings -- recently I saw some traffic about the
EEBA Builders Guide. This book has an interesting
_copyright_ lineage including:

Building Science Corp.
EEBA and
Shelter Source

It will primarily be made available through EEBA, and if
one becomes an EEBA member -- which carries a variety
of benefits discussed at [ http://www.eeba.org/ ] --
the cost of this quite valuable volume is reduced.

.. I too found it extremely well written; and only have some
minor technical disagreements about certain assembly rec's that
are not too well proven yet in the field ... but ...
The Builders Guide already came in handy to diffuse a nasty
argument at a job site in suburban Washington, DC where there
was about to be a major vapour-daming problem created by
misuse of certain otherwise valuable and useful materials.
Fisticuffs and exchanges of bodily fluids were narrowly averted
thanks to a passage in the volume related to vapor retarders.
