Tt: Possible Grant $$$

 -----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello everyone,

This came through another list, and I wondered if anyone might be
interested in pursuing this funding. The pages Mark copied that followed
the message are full of html coding, so it must be a website (try searching
for National Urban and Community Forestry Advisory Council (NUCFAC)).
However, he says to contact him at mofrancis@ucdavis.edu and he will send
the full RFP as an email attachment, if you are interested.

Cheers,
Mary

Landscape Architects,

Over $1 million in funding is available this year for research,
communication and demonstration projects related to urban and community
forestry. This is one of the largest funding sources currently
available for landscape architecture research. Past funding has gone
to landscape architects and the Council is interested in receiving
proposals on a broad range of landscape issues including landscape
ecology, environmental education, community participation, and design
and planning. Pre-proposals are not that elaborate and full proposals
are not required unless requested.

If you have questions regarding the grants program, you can contact
Suzy del Villar, Executive Assistant to NUCFAC, at (970) 928-9264
(between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time, Monday through Friday)
or delvr@rof.net.
