Does anyone know of trees for eastern USA that beavers DO NOT like to munch
on? I am preparing planting plans for an area which has beaver activity. I
notice they love cherries, alders and willows. River birch seems to be left
alone. Smaller trees are especially desirable. (Beaver eradication is not
an option I have in this situation. I am specifying protective wire mesh
cages, but that is a maintenance problem I'd like to avoid.)

Any help appreciated!
