Did someone say that the osage orange isn't good for much?  It has dense
wood that appears almost tropical.  There is nothing better for making
tool handles!

I have a pile of busted tools (most notably sledge hammers -heh, heh) that
I refer to as the "scratch and dent pile."  If I ever have time, I plan on
carving handles for them out of o__g_ _r_ng_.
